BlackstarHTMD1 Pure Valve Modulation

I think it's great. I've been looking for a multi-modulation (all in one) pedal for a while and will be keeping this one. I've tried the Mooer and the Dreamscape by TC (Petrucci's signature chorus/flanger/tremolo) and this one blows the doors of both. I've been fooling around with it for a couple of days; day 1 wasn't sure. Right off I liked the flanger, and rotary but wasn't sure about the phaser and didn't like the choruses. Day 2 liked more of it, Day 3, Day 4, etc. - but today I'm liking all of it! I REALLY like the slow/fast default switch especially for use with the rotary and tremolo - real nice. ONE drawback is that it can not be used in my loop - too noisy - but works perfect (and quiet) at the end of my pedal chain and handles all my pedals well. These are in limite supply. I paid $225 and today the price is up to $280 already. I'd get one while you can. It's cool, the tube drive adds alot of variation as well.

I wanted to use it for my new cd project and did not work at all . very upset about it . the blackstar gear is some of the best, but i got a lemon.

Although the HT modulator is a brilliant piece of kit, it however also failed within a few month after the purchased date. It is also no longer supported by blackstar which is to say that that they can no longer provide replacement parts to authorised service centres.
