Q: For those of you buyers that initially rated these pillows highly, are you still satisfied? How are they holding up?

It’s a good price for getting four of them but about 3 months later, they are flat and need replaced. It’s probably worth it to spend a little higher for longer lasting pillows. I’m thinking these make better for a guest bedroom.

Q: Are these low loft? I need pillows that are not very thick.

I'm not sure about "low loft" but they are not too thick. I don't like pillows too thick or too thin. I am pleased with them.

Q: I just received my pillows and the seams are on the outside, should they be?

Wouldn't it make sense that the seems wouldn't matter anyways considering you will place it in a pillow case? Just a thought. And yeah. The pillow seams will be on the outside as you won't be able to stitch from the inside of anything unless 1 side is open... which would still leave a seam on side and impractical.
