2nd Attempt
My first purchase FAILED TO WORK- leaving my young Grandson extremely disappointed to say the least. He has a thirst for planetarium knowledge and this product had all the hallmarks of professional presentation skills for his age group, but unfortunately it left him less than impressed.Fortunately Amazon do make life extremely easy to have a replacement/refund processed. Initially and sadly the replacement did not work, but perseverance prevailed, this was after all the nausea of double checking the battery polarity positioning and then confirming the battery strength, I have to admit frustration and a bang on the work surface shocked it into life. Just a cautionary awareness of our experience for anyone interested, surely it couldn’t be a coincidence that 2 products stubbornly refused to operate out of the box?

Planet Light
We returned this as Jupiter did not go round smoothly, kept stopping. We also bought as a night light but its goes out after 30 minutes which is no good as a night light.

A decent product.
I bought this for my son as he is fascinated by Space.The planets rotate around the sun at their pace.It it quite expensive for just a rotating planet model. The price needs to be made more reasonable.

Cool item, not too noisy.
This is a nicely presented science toy with lots of interesting facts and figures about the solar system. Would make a nice present for a young space lover but can’t obviously be taken too seriously as the planets only move at one of 2 speeds. It does take up a lot of room as there’s quite a large diameter to keep clear. My kids don’t really have enough clear space in their rooms to display this so think about that when buying. Looks very cool at night and has a little map of the stars to pop over the sun and project the images onto the ceiling. This is a nice little extra that’s fun at bedtime.
