Diamond Select Toys Marvel Select: Abomination Action Figure

This is a VERY hefty toy. It's really heavy and well-made as are almost all Marvel Selects toys. This one in particular has amazing details and sculpts and is quite large and heavy compared to other Marvel Legends line toys. A great addition to any collection and a toy that will endure hours of play due to it's dense and durable design.

Hi all, this has to be the best Abomination figure ever produced, period. The sculpt is incredible, articulation could of been a wee bit better with bicep joints and true ball hip joints though, still a wonderful figure though. My biggest disappointment was with the base however, it claims a "highly detailed base" which is no where to be found, it only comes with a simple line of stone mock up, that holds a reversible cardboard piece, if only there was a way to purchase the base pictured separately, I would so do so. However, I do understand the weight limits of the package where they had to change the base, once you see the figure in person you will also, man this thing is heavy and huge, almost 10 inches and around 2.5lbs! If the base would of been as advertised in the picture with figure, it would be 100% perfect. Even with the base being a let down, there is no way you should miss out on this figure, it is simply incredible if your a fan of the Abomination. I have never seen such attention to detail with a figure, its huge, its heavy and simply beautiful in sculpt and all aspects. Well worth getting and a awesome addition to any select collection!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Now this is easily the best action figure of The Abomination, period. The sculpt & detailing are phenomenal and perfectly captures the power and monstrousness of one of Hulk's toughest foes. Although mine didn't come with the base that's pictured here on Amazon, this figure doesn't need it. Like the Juggernaut figure I purchased with it, this huge & imposing leviathan is perfectly balanced to stand on its own. It's not top-heavy nor is it difficult to pose, so it's perfect for placing on top of a shelf or even in a display case. It's one of those figures that looks awesome just standing still. Keep in mind that this figure has limited articulation and is geared more towards more serious collectors who want to display it, not for small children or those inclined to "down & dirty" rough play (besides, a child could accidentally hurt someone if they threw or swung this hefty figure at them). It may be a little smaller & a couple pounds lighter than DC's gargantuan Solomon Grundy figure, but this is a solid, beautiful (for a monster) figure. If you are a fan of big monsters, Marvel characters, or just love quality sculpting, definitely get yourself a copy of The Abomination before prices go up.

This abomination action figure looks really real. It is a little bit heavy for a toddler but he can carry a everywhere’s. The articulation is super cool, you can love his legs and arms easily. It’s worth the money. It is a bit small but good quality.

The recommended age for this action figure is 8 - 15 years of age. This action figure is one that my grandson has wanted for some time. These are rare and not exactly on the cheap side. This is the least expensive one I have found that is almost the same size as the Marvel Titan Series. Granted this wasn’t made for this series but the Legend Series. The detail on the figure is quite impressive and the articulation is not bad at all, with 16 points of articulation. My grandson loves this action figure. Easily heavier than any of his Titan Series action figures. He loves the weight and thinks it makes him fight better because he is stronger and tougher. I was unable to locate any warranty either in the product information or item description. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, this is one of the more expensive action figures I have purchased. But well worth the radiant smile on my grandson’s face. He loves Abomination. Hope this information was helpful. Okay, I just got Abomination delivered this morning. I'm overall happy with everything. They even came two day early. The action figure itself is very detailed. One of two things I didn't like is the fact it didn't come with the stand, not that big of a deal. but one other thing I didn't like that's alittle more important then the first is that the Abomination package itself, looked like it was tossed around in a game of hot potato, before being placed in the travel packaged. which is weird because when you open the travel package, it seemed like abomination was very well protected. Maybe it doesn't matter for a 7 year old but for an adult fan like me that collects these action figures, it definitely matters. overall the product is great.

The figure is just great very heavy too but can stand on its own. Great sale price and very fun to play with this figure is limited on articulation but still great for something that size and well built.

Words can't express how excited I was to see this level of quality in a toy. My son is going to be so happy come Christmas morning. Thank you so much!!!

Oh my god Blonsky is so BIG and HEAVY. You can actually do a weightlifting exercise with Abomination on one hand and the Marvel Select Hulk on the other. This is an amazing figure.

This is an excellent figure for an excellent price. Some figures you would pay the same for, but with less of an item. Abomination is the best possible item for an amazing price! First of all he is huge compared to my other figures and is heavy for an action figure. The detail put into him is amazing. Super happy with him! By far my favourite figure in my collection.

I am so happy with this item. It makes a perfect addition to my Diamond Marvel Select 'Big Guys' display right next to my Red Hulk, Hulk Buster, and Thanos.
