Laptop Li-ION Battery for Gateway AS09A41 AS09A73 ID58 MS2268 MS2273 MS2285 MS2288 NV52

Perfect fit for my wheezy old Gateway/Acer laptop NV52/MS2274 (vintage 2007) whose battery just died. Replacement battery arrived almost fully charged, computer fired up right away without charging. I plugged in the charger (also purchased at same time from Amazon, see my review elsewhere), & a full charge was obtained in about 15 minutes. This battery has slightly different electrical specs than the original: 10.8VDC/5200mAh vs. 11.1VDC/4200mAh for the original. But the laptop doesn't seem to care, so all's well that runs well.

This is a very good product. I received a timely delivery, and there was no problem with packaging or condition of the item. The battery had us back up and running in no time. The battery was purchased as a replacement of the original battery that came with our laptop.

This is a great replacement for your laptop. I have a Gateway NV and it worked great.FYI - to not have to replace your battery again it's advisable to NOT have it plugged in 24/7. If you're doing a big project and know you're going to be on your laptop for hours (with AC power) - take your battery out when it's fully charged and let it run off of full AC power. It helps sustain the battery life of your battery and takes a lot of strain off of it. Fully drain it to 5%,etc once in awhile too I'm not a professional, just a mere consumer but know it's the only way to take care of lithium batteries.

It fits my gateway laptop series. The only issue that I have is that it only lasts for about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Also, on my battery notification my laptop always either indicates that I have 2 hours left, but then really I only have about an hour. My original batteries would last about 4 to 4.5 hours. This one not so much. I don't know if it's the battery or my laptop that have issues with reading or storing the battery length. This battery at least let's me not use an outlet for a while.

Doesn't hold a charge as long as the 5 year old OEM battery it replaced. Fully charged it lost 25 % in only 15 minutes

I purchased this battery, and did not use it right away. My mistake. When I did try to use it, i found that it does not work at all for the laptop it was advertised for use in. I tried to return it, but Amazon told me I waited too long. I'm out whatever the cost was, and have a junk battery for my trouble. I'll never buy there again.

The charge doesn't hold for that long (a little less than an hour), but it is better than nothing and okay for the price I paid. It came very quickly and I am happy with it. If the charge held longer, I would give it more stars. 5 stars to the vendor for speedy delivery. T Thanks so much!

It is better than my old worn out battery that would not take charge,,,HOWEVER this one charges ok then does not last long at all, pretty much dumps its charge within the hour.

Battery is already starting to die. Wont hold a charge very long. Not a good product.
