Q: Is this a solid stencil or hollow one I paint inside?

these stencils are the cut-out kind. the "body" is actually the hollow/open portion. Unfortunately, they are mad of cardboard (like a photo mat) and got kind of wet and mushy from the fabric paint I used. Probably my own fault for not reading the description more carefully but I don't think they're going to last very long. I haven't done any more projects with mine but I plan to outline with pencil the next time and not paint within the stencil itself. Hope this helps!!
