The watch seems to be a small android phone, allowing you to download all of your favourite applications from the play store - Netflix, google play, Spotify, angry birds, etc.The main compromises compared to a phone that you would put into your pocket is the screen size and the battery life.Although you can (just about) use applications, the battery percentage drops fast - I have measured a drop of about 10% per 30 seconds when using netflix or google play for example - so you will not get much further past the opening credits before the watch turns off (presuming you were at 100% charge when you started) - and it gets hot! Even Spotify is not much better.Even if you don’t use the phone, the battery will drop quite fast. I have not yet got more than about 6 hours out of it, so make sure you have a spare alternative watch (and phone) with you.I am not quite sure on the ‘sweet spot’ for this watch. Does it save you from taking your phone with you - possibly, but only for a short outing. Does it replace your watch? Again, not for long. You will probably need to bring a phone with you as well, for telling the time and doing any real activity rather than showing off what your phone can do - for a few minutes.Very interesting device, however, have learnt not to count on it.P.SI have turned off certain feature to save battery life. Before this, the battery was dead before lunch time. So it’s worth taking at look at what you can deactivate.P.P.SWhen I bought this watch (from amazon site) I got it on special offer for 80 pounds, so my rating reflects the 80 pound price.
