Q: What is the difference between the m and l size? both say 16 ft and 5m but somehow the l is for a heavier/stronger dog?

L size is much bigger, strongger and more durable than M size, including strongger metal clip and the tape. The length of tape is 16 ft for both. But L size suitable for the dog weight up to 110 lbs, M size is for the dog weight up to 44 lbs. Hope this information can help you!

Q: I have a 1 pound chihuahua and all other retractable leashes have too high a resistance. Is this one easy to pull or will she go flying?

I have 2 pugs, one a senior and one a pup. The leash for them is perfect but alas I have hands larger than a 10 year old girl and the handle and grip is far to small for my hands. The length of the lead would be ideal for your little one.... Enough room for some distance and freedom but short enough to easily reign in should you need to. The leash is top quality but you must have small hands to operate it. I would have no hesitation in recommending this leash to anyone for a quality product as long as you understand that the grip and handle are very small. I know I'm blowing one note about that but it is the most outstanding fact about this leash.

Q: I can't get a knot out; help please?

OK I had this problem and was able to resolve it using two simple table forks. Stick one of the tines of a fork through one side of the knot and then using the other fork work your way through the other side of the knot and then just wiggle it until it opens up. Seems strange I know but it worked for me.
