This dishware set is perfect. Clean, basic look, not too heavy as to be difficult to handle (especially when washing), but also not cheap-feeling. Great quality, especially for an Amazon Basics product. Would be easily affordable for anyone starting out in their first home or apartment. Would have preferred if they came in 8, instead of 6. But they're so affordable, I just bought 2 sets. They also were packed and shipped well, so nothing broken on arrival. Love em!

These are great dishes. The detailing is so contemporary! The bowls are black with the same design, very sharp when put all together. No issues in dishwasher or microwave.

We bought some new plates to go with our remodeled kitchen, and decided on these based on the color scheme and a decent price. Arrived quickly, packed nicely, everything was in order. Plates are plates, they're flat. They're round. They hold food. Not much more I expect of them. The bowls are decent size, kind of nice and deep. However the deepness of them is due to the sides being very vertical, not angled out like most of our other bowls. The downside to that is they don't stack nicely, can only get about 4 stacked on our shelves. Another issue is depending on how they sit in your dishwasher, they may just stand there vertically on their side almost straight up. Our dishwasher doesn't have jets in the front, they're underneath. So I feel the need to lay them out more at an angle covering more area in the dishwasher. So where we may normally rack 6 bowls in a row, we would only fit about 3 of these. Maybe the concern is all in my head, but I feel like there needs to be some exposure of the inside of the bowl to the jets underneath it to get cleaned...The other issue we've had, in the last 20 years, I think the only plate/bowl we've broken was when my daughter microwaved oatmeal, but forgot the milk. For anyone that hasn't done that, it starts a nice little bonfire.That bowl ended up cracking in half when it cooled. I think one other bowl has a chip in it of our old set.With these new dishes, we've damaged 3 and tossed 2 of them in the first few months of use. One was a plate. I dropped it on the counter from probably a good 6 inches up, it shattered into a lot of pieces. That one was on me, I'm not sure many plates would survive that unscathed. But we've also chipped 2 bowls while loading/unloading the dishwasher. One chip was significant, and didn't feel sharp. I put it away with the rest of the dishes, only to realize about 10 minutes later my finger I tested the sharpness with was now bleeding profusely...decided maybe that one was not safe for children and tossed it in the garbage. The other bowl had a minor chip, not skin cutting sharp apparently, so it's been kept. When I ordered these originally, there didn't appear to be a way to order just bowls or just plates, which would be nice to have that option.So they look nice, are functional, just be gentle. Maybe it was streak of bad luck, but compared to our older dishes, these are not as heavy, and the edges are thinner, so I don't expect them to last as well unfortunately.

Meal time just got enjoyable! These elegant plates and bowls can dress up any meal from Saturday morning breakfast to Easter Sundy dinner! Came packaged extremely well, no chips or cracks.

I am very happy with my new dishes! i haven't had them long enough to know how they will hold up but I expect they will work as well as any of this type. They were packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. They have some very minor imperfections. I noticed one plate with a slightly wavy edge but you have o look very closely and the flowers are all perfect. If you want absolute perfection you would have to go a lot higher in price. I am super happy with them. They are classy and perfect for daily use. I would definitely purchase the again!!! Note: I am adding this after using these for a while. They are very sturdy and solid. I love them.

Bought this as a gift. Has a great design and looks more expansive then it is, but they're much heavier then I wanted them to be.

I bought this since I moved into a new place and literally had no plates or bowls. This set was a good variety and fulfills nearly all my needs, with the exception of a good ramen bowl. The bowls in this set are a bit too small to hold a bowl of instant ramen so I did have to buy larger bowls. Otherwise these plates and bowls have been great and hold up well in the dishwasher.

I bought this set to replace the mismatched plates in our cupboard that accumulated over the years. I was initially worried about breakage during shipping, but everything arrived in perfect condition, it was very well packed and nothing was broken or chipped. The pattern is such an elegant design, it can surely work with almost any decor. And I love that this set does not come with mugs!! I just needed plates and bowls, and this was just perfect. The plates are a little on the heavier side, but I’ve been using much lighter plates for several years now so I do tend to notice the weight difference with these. Pattern is smooth and after several washes has not faded or flaked, so overall we are very happy with this set!

This dinnerware set has a contemporary and elegant appeal, on top of being budget-conscious and practical for easy stacking. I used to have a set of Corelle dinnerware that I loved but got too scratched and discoloured over 10+ years of use. it was time for a change and I'm happy to have made this choice.When I ordered the set, all of the dishes arrived well-wrapped in a reasonably sized cardboard box and without any breakage or shipping damage.
