Does the light flash red when one uses it?

Dear CK J,Thank you for your patience.  Here is some additional information from the manufacturer:The client will active via push-button a green LED light that lets the user know when it's ready for flashing. Turn the device around when the green light turns on and you'll get the same blue colored flash you'd see on the device in MIB II. Those 3 dark red/maroon lights you see are purely for aesthetic purposes to match those in the movie. Those 3 don't do anything in the movie either.... in the meantime the client can check out the video demonstration on the  vendor's page here.Please feel free to contact us at any time with any issues as they arise. Are you asking about the Neuralyzer or the noisy cricket? If the Neuralyzer, it does seem to erase memory. When my wife saw me unbox it and the invoice, she forgot I existed.
