But, there are some issues with the color timing and banding during certain scenes. I'd recommend watching the film in Dolby Vision instead of HDR, if your player allows it. It's a better result, whisking away that pesky darkness so often found with HDR. Oddly, there's no Dolby Atmos mix. The DTS:x available will have to do. It's fine, and fills the room with bubbly performance doing justice to the killer soundtrack. Also, the extras included are fantastic. One 4k disc and two Blu-rays await your viewing pleasure. Every conceivable commentary, and more are all here. Best of all: Shrek the Halls ! The best Christmas special to come along in years. "I have shamed myself" "You weren't there!!" 🙂 Everything considered, I highly recommend this release.

Fun, Exciting, and a Decent Story
I saw this many years ago, and when I saw the DVD at a decent price, decided to add it to my library. I still enjoy it now and again.

A Forgotten Jewel!
Purchased this in 4K to enjoy as the price was right and I couldn't believe how long it had been since I had watched it. I use a Panasonic 820 4K player and the video and audio quality is truly spectacular! Deep, rich, vivid colors, details I had never imagined were abundant! Blew me away! Very enjoyable!

It’s a movie and it works

Estoy contento porque llegó con su slipcover bien cuidado. Solo contiene un disco Blu-ray con serigrafiado sencillo color verde y una copia digital que NO es válida fuera de Estados Unidos. Además de una muy, muy buena pista de audio original inglés Dolby TrueHD de 7.1 canales, también incluye una pista de audio en español latino, y sí, el icónico doblaje hecho en México. Tengo entendido que esta es solo una reimpresión de la primera edición en Blu-ray que salió por allá del 2011, por lo que hasta donde sé, no hay nuevo material extra que no se haya visto antes, por lo que si tienes otra versión en Blu-ray de Shrek tal vez estés bien, a menos que seas un gran fan de la película. Si no tienes Shrek en Blu-ray aún, recomendadísima esta edición.
