This Iridium GO! Marine Bundle comes with 1000 minutes valid for 365 days. You must activate the SIM card within 6 months of purchase.
Simply flip the integrated antenna and the battery-powered unit will connect quickly and automatically to the Iridium LEO satellite constellation to create a Wi-Fi hotspot anywhere within a 30.5m radius. Then you can connect and operate up to 5 devices at a time within this area using the 'Iridium GO! request'
The external antenna provides superior performance for external mounting in aggressive and marine environments. The radomes are 4 mm GRP / polyester blend while the base is milled from hard anodized aluminum, giving an attractive green finish, making it resistant to corrosion.
The bracket that comes with each antenna can be connected to vertical or horizontal beams, up to 60 mm in diameter, using the provided U-bolts. The connection to the Iridium phone is made with an appropriate coaxial cable through a TNC / N type on the bottom of the antenna.
