I ordered one of the "on spec" to see if my wife would like it. She LOVED it, and I ordered a second one, since she really wanted a matched pair.If you get one of these, make sure to swap out the E27 bulbs that come with it for LEDs or something that won't create a lot of heat. I will also be swapping out the "night light" bulb soon, but the one that comes with the lamp is totally OK.We are both very happy with this purchase, and I can't wait to get the other one. These will go in our bedroom.FOLLOW-UP: Unlike many other lamps available, the "night light" bulb is a CANDELABRA BASE BULB, not an E17 base. I made the mistake of ordering some E17 bulbs, which I cannot use. Caveat emptor!

This lamp is prettier than I expected. Lots of warm light. Love the nightlight base.

I absolutely love this lamp. The bulbs that came with it made the base extremely hot. Buy LED bulbs and you are good to go. I was worried about buying sight unseen but this lamp is wonderful. Great accent for my living room.

Love my lamp but I must say the lightbulb inside the lamp for the nightlight became way too hot and started to burn up I discovered this because of an electrical smell and touching the lamp it was extremely hot... Problem solved when I Replaced the bulb with a specific night light bulb... manufacturer needs to definitely fix this!!

I looked for weeks for the right lamps for our bedroom. I finally settled on these and I’m soooooo glad I did! They are elegant and well made. The lamp in the base actually lights on it’s own as a nightlight. It has chains but also a push switch which is really convenient by the bed. When off the lamp looks creamy with some pale gold streaks.....when on, its a lighter shade if those colors with the glass beads sparkling with light. It’s very neutral and will go in any decor. My bedspread in the picture is an off whit or light cream. The lamps are almost identical in color. This lamp is a winner. I don’t know how you could go wrong with this choice. I read some reviews that doubted.... but the shades ARE real glass. Looks expense at a very reasonable price.

Unlike many others of the same type of table lamp with light in the base that have light bulb off center, small bulb in the lamp base of this lamp is located in the center of the base making light distribution evenly. Good design.Color is very nice.
