RPG Journal: Role Playing Game Notebook Paperback – October 6, 2018

Wow! Did not expect this kind of quality from an $8 notebook!First off, let me say that I do a LOT of writing. I've been writing in a journal every day for the past thirteen years, so I am reasonably certain I know a thing or two about build quality in blank books. This is by far the best $8 I have ever spent on a notebook. The cover feels sort of like rubber. I don't know what the material is called, but it is the kind some phone cases are made of. It won't slip or slide off the desk unless your table is covered in grease. I really like this feature because it clings to plastic surfaces easy. I write with one hand, so having a book that won't slide around is a huge advantage.Also, the book is not as small as I thought it might be. As you can see from the pictures, it's smaller than your average 8 1/2" x 11" paper. The binder I have is meant for this type of paper, so you can get a general sense of its size. The lines are not college-ruled, which is what I prefer. However, there are separate lines at the top of each page that you can use to write things like dates or days or whatever. This is extremely helpful when starting a new session for my D&D campaign. I can just write the day of the session on each page so I'll be able to keep track easier.All in all, this is perfect for what I need. Literally the only downside is that this thing is a fingerprint magnet. I'm sure you can see all the nice little marks on the front of the book from my fingers. Other than that, this journal is fantastic.

I am giving this as a gift. It looks nice but the cover was slightly damaged. It was discolored. I believe it would be better to be stored in a sleeve of some sort to keep from being damaged. I am still giving as a gift.

The journal arrived just in time for my d&d campaign and it's so beautiful! The image matches exactly how it comes.Because its paperback, it bends easily so be careful if you're a bit clumsy!

It’s a notebook with a cool cover. I thought it would have some other cool features, but... I could have gotten a similar notebook at Staples for $1.99. That being said, my teenage daughter loved it - I gave it to her with some other D&D gifts for her birthday and she thought it was great.

Cutr book, I keep track of my characters and their spells, also our story this far. It has been so much fun to write in this book. It steals the spotlight everytime.

This was a Christmas stocking gift for my son and he loved it! He is an avid D&D player so this was great for him to plan strstegy!

Bought this for myself as a brainstorming journal for campaigns. I personally think this is an excellent quality for the price. I'm very happy with this purchase.

had a few scratches on the cover, other than that its what I expected.

Lovely cover art marred by a cheap print and bind. Mine even arrived with a big crease across the back cover. Was meant as a gift but decided against it when I saw it.

Lined paper with space for a title on each page, looks as nice in person as it does in the picture, nice texture cover. Just not a sturdy book incase you wonder.

So many of these books are blank pages that aren't even ruled. Was a gift for my son and he loved it - include the ruled pages!Nicely bound too. A good value for the money.

Cute book, arrived quickly. But the cover has some almost grease/fingerprint marks on it? The glossy cover may mark easy.
